The Nyetimber estate dates back to 1086, and has seen its vines grow in the heart of the South Downs for over thirty years. Along with Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs and her husband, Winemaker Brad Greatrix, the Nyetimber team are passionate about creating truly incredible wine.

What makes Nyetimber wine so special?
Nyetimber wine is grown in gentle south-facing slopes of greensand and chalk soils in Sussex, Hampshire and Kent. Their grapes are slowly ripened in the warm English sunshine, then hand-picked once they’re perfectly matured.
Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs assesses every parcel of grapes for quality, ripeness and character, to ensure that every bottle of wine is up to their impeccable standards. Nyetimber even have their very own pressing centre and winery, allowing them to guide each step of the journey from vine to bottle.
Each bottle of Nyetimber is crafted down to the detail – which is why each bottle has a unique code on the label, which can be entered on their website to find the exact blend, vintage, bottling and release date of your wine.
