Planning and prepping meals is often the last thing on your mind as a new mum, especially in the first 1-3 months of baby\u2019s life. So, why not channel your inner chef and drop off some delicious meals?\u00a0<\/span>Whether it\u2019s a fresh lasagne or her favourite curry, there\u2019s nothing better than dinner being ready in minutes.

If she\u2019s feeling up to visitors, dropping in to help freshen up the house can be a big help. There\u2019s no need to do a full-scale spring clean, but tackling the washing up and folding the laundry while you have a chat can be a huge weight off her shoulders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the initial flurry of visitors dies down, there\u2019s a chance feelings of loneliness might creep in. So, why not drop her a message and see if she\u2019s up to having some company for a few hours?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Between nappy changes, feeds, and trying to remember what day it is, you\u2019ll be able to remind her that she\u2019s absolutely smashing it. And if she\u2019s too exhausted for chatter, offer to watch the baby while she sneaks in a nap.<\/span><\/p>\n

If she\u2019s got toddlers running around adding to the chaos, taking them out for a few hours can be a lifesaver.\u00a0<\/span>Whether you head to the park, visit a museum, or do some at-home crafts, this is a brilliant way to give mum a breather and make sure the older kids feel special too.
