It\u2019s used for designs that are to be printed \u2013 as those are the ink cartridges that are in the printer. Think: greetings cards, prints, flyers, business cards.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"outline: none;\"><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: Roboto; font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 0.1px;\">Yes, we know, designing in CMYK will tone your colours down a touch. This is because RGB is a more vibrant palette to CMYK, so your printed designs may end up looking a bit more dull&#8221;.<\/li><li style=\"outline: none;\">CMYK is not supported for PNG files. They get converted to RGB once exported.<\/li><li style=\"outline: none;\">Using fluorescent colours is a common reason for cards not being accepted into the catalogue.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"outline: none;\">If you\u2019re looking to create your own colour palette, we recommend trying the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/coolors.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coolors<\/a>\u00a0website.
