Hello (potential new) Creators! So, you want to set up a profile and start your journey as a thortful creator? Great news! In this blog we\u2019ll take you through the short process of setting up your profile. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Step 1: Join thortful!<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t

First things first, you’ll need to set up your profile here<\/a>, where you add your name, email, password- all the serious bits. You’ll have to add your photo which will feature on our ‘Our Creators’ page. This is where you can show our customers the face behind the designs, so this image must feature you. Please make sure your photo is square and sized between 1000 x 1000 px- 1200 x 1200 px.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Profile set up <\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t

Enter your brand name<\/strong>
Next, you\u2019ll need to add your brand name. If you haven\u2019t already got one, now is the perfect time to come up with one \u2013 it doesn’t have to be your name. You can think as outside the box, or inside, as you want. <\/p>\n

Add your bio<\/b>
You’ll then add your bio which will appear on the back of your cards so make sure they fit your style and the occasions you are designing for. We want to avoid having inappropriate bios on children\u2019s cards for example. <\/p>\n

Upload your profile picture<\/b>
On this page you’ll also upload the image that will show on your profile page and alongside your cards on the website – this can be used for your company logo or a photo of you. 

Upload a banner photo
<\/b><\/span>Your account is now set up and you’ll be taken to the creator dashboard. At the top go to Creator Profile and from here you can upload the banner photo which will go across your creator profile that customers can view. This can showcase your best designs or be used to reflect your brand aesthetic. <\/span><\/p>\n

Customise your URL<\/b>
You\u2019ll also be able to add your profile URL that can be shared on your social media channels and with friends and family. <\/p>\n

Add your Location<\/b>
It\u2019s worth adding your location onto your profile as people love to shop locally! It also increases your chance for exposure in regional marketing\/PR campaigns. <\/p>\n

Step 3: Payment details <\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In order to be paid, you\u2019ll need to add your PayPal email address, billing address and invoice details to the Business Details section in your account. We pay one month in arrears, and issue payments once you\u2019ve made a minimum of \u00a35. Not to worry if you\u2019ve not made \u00a35 in a month\u2013 your royalties will simply roll over to the next month. If you are VAT registered, we can pay you the relevant VAT amount on all royalties that you accrue. You’ll be able to keep track of your payouts in the creator section on the website, and we also email you once a payment has been made.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
